Theme Letter

Dear Advisors,

On behalf of the Secretary-General of TED Antalya Junior Model United Nations 2022, it is a great honour for me to invite you all to our second annual JMUN conference, TAJMUN’22, which will be held between March 31- April 2 2023.

Ever since the establishment of our Model United Nations Club in 2012, and the first conference we held in 2016, we have been keen on making every other conference better and more favorable than the preceding one, in order to leave participants with exceptional memories of enjoyable debates, lively social events, but most importantly, the experience of being fully immersed in the MUN community. That is why we aim to provide a platform where beginners and experienced MUNers come together to debate world issues, find solutions, boost their self-confidence and social skills, socialize and most importantly: have fun.

Our theme for this year is “Rising Automation”. It seeks to address the increase of automation in order to prepare students towards a possible future. In our committees based around our theme, we encourage all students to debate, discuss, cooperate in order to come up with productive solutions and also have an enjoyable experience.

Our committees consist of the following nine committees: DISEC, Political, SOCHUM, Health & Environment, UN Women; Security Council, ECOSOC, UNESCO and Cyber Security.
